OSCB Learning Event - Child Drug Exploitation

Detail:

Child drug exploitation describes the use of children and young people in drug running networks through the use of force, e.g. violence (including sexual violence) and intimidation, and/or enticement based methods of compliance, e.g. money, drugs, peer recognition and adult role models.  

This event will raise awareness of the issue, explain the different types of exploitation happening in Oxfordshire, explore links with other forms of exploitation and related safeguarding issues.

Presenters include Thames Valley Police, Youth Justice Service and a performance by Alter Ego Creative Solutions (Chelsea’s Choice) of their recent production ‘County Lines/Out of Counties’.

There is free parking at the venue. Tea/coffee will be provided, lunch will not be provided.
