This course is a trainer led live Webinar lasting approximately 2.5 hours

Target Audience

Social Workers (including LCSS and EH workers), Health Visitors, Education and other professionals working with children and young people

Our Legal duties in safeguarding children

What is Oxfordshire’s response and what work is being done to prevent FGM

Opportunity for group discussion around case examples

Aims and Learning objectives:

To understand more about the practice of FGM

To learn about safe and proportionate responses

To understand our professional duty and requirements around safeguarding

To find out where you can get advice and support from professionals if you are concerned that this is happening.

The webinar will run via the Microsoft Teams platform.

Delegates must have access to a laptop or a computer as this session is not fully accessible via a mobile device.
