Detail:

Duration: 1 hour of pre-training materials to be completed in your own time followed by a 3-hour (with breaks!) Zoom webinar training. The pre-training materials will be sent to delegates seperately prior to the session.

This half-day training offers a deeper exploration of the dynamics of domestic abuse, including the impact domestic abuse has on victims and children. The aim is to further the knowledge and understanding of practitioners in order for them to better support children and families who are affected by domestic abuse.

The session will cover types of partner violence, inter-relationships, the impact on child development, and the complexities of leaving an abusive relationship.

Attendees are required to have completed the 'Introduction to Domestic Abuse' training module first; either previously via 'Reducing The Risk' training or also available to book via the OSCB training booking system.
