This training will be delivered as a FACE TO FACE course.
Masks will not be compulsory as per government guidance, but of course, can be worn if preferred.
Please also note that the OSCB will no longer be providing printed handouts on their face to face courses and if pre-course materials are provided, delegates will be able to find these in the pre-reading attachments to this course 6 working days prior to the course date and providing a booking has been made.
Aims:
- To identify self-harm in young people
- How to provide support in your work setting
- When and how to access further support
Objectives:
- An increased understanding of self-harm and associated factors
- An improved ability to recognise young people at risk of self-harm
- An increased capacity to work effectively in promoting young people’s overall mental health
