What is it and why does it matter?

A training exploring similarities and differences when thinking about attachment relationships for looked after children and unaccompanied asylum seeking children.

  • Learning objectives:
    • To develop an understanding of the impact of early experiences on attachment
    • To explore the impact of attachment on child development
    • To develop understanding of experiences of UASC as potentially different to children who have had early relational trauma.
    • To develop skills in working with young people who have attachment difficulties
