This session is run by facilitators from the charity 'Oxford Against Cutting' and they are also from FGM-affected communities, which helps to make the training 'real'
Oxford Against Cutting (OAC) is a rights-based group working to end harmful cultural practices suffered by girls and women living in the Thames Valley.
The course is suitable for multi-agency practitioners and groups including teaching and pastoral staff at primary and secondary schools, home-school link workers, youth workers, police officers, domestic abuse workers, social workers, safeguarding leads in all organisations, health practitioners, student groups and anyone who comes into contact with children.
